Lisa was one of five artists commissioned by In Certain Places to produce a temporary public art work to coincide with the 2012 Preston Guild celebrations, under the collective title of Subplots to a City.

This installation of vinyl lettering on glass occupies Preston Railway Station waiting room – a rare, quiet space amongst the noise and movement of the city, where pause and thought occurs before the onward journey on one of the railway links to the north, south east or west of the country.
